Miches is a place located east of the Dominican Republic. It was founded in the early nineteenth century and is named in honor of General Eugenio Miches. It is located south of the famous bay of Samana in the Atlantic Ocean and near the National Park Haitises. The most common way to reach this charming village is usually by the road-Seybo Miches, although other two options are to take the route of the Atlantic Ocean or the highway Sabana del Mar.
The local landscape is characterized by a mountainous area of white beaches, which dominates the rainforest. It is a perfect place for adventure tourism in a 100% natural and enjoy splendid landscapes. Among the activities include horse riding adventure through the magnificent Lakes National Park to reach the summit of its unique mountain and cross the two large lakes in the area by boat.
On site are two lakes, Lake Lemon and Lake Round, where you can go fishing both freshwater and saltwater. If we are lucky as the fish bite in our rod we can see the circular flight of ducks that inhabit the area.
The rivers of the area are Jovero River, the Cedar River or the river Maimon, who typically very plentiful. The most prominent beach is the beach instead of Lemon.
